METAL STORAGE CONTAINERS - TOWN CODE AMENDMENTS

Town Council is considering Code Amendments to govern the use of metal storage containers on residential and commercial properties. They are seeking public input to assure the new regulations are appropriate for Chino Valley and address the needs of its residents and businesses.
We invite you to attend one of two Open Houses at which the Town Manager and staff will gather information for presentation and
recommendations to Council at the Study Sessions to follow.
Key Issues:
-Should the number of containers on residential properties be limited?
-Should there be minimum distance requirements from neighboring properties?
-Should there be requirements for appearance?
-Should these containers on commercial properties have different requirements than on residential properties? If so, what, and why?
-If new codes are adopted, how long should property owners be given to bring existing containers into compliance?
